Come Grow With Us
Welcome to the online home of Harvest Baptist Church! Here at Harvest, we desire to be an Acts 1:8 local assembly, obeying the Lord’s command to reach those shackled by sin with the light of God’s Word, His love, and His grace. We seek to understand and be filled with the Power that the Holy Spirit gives us to be faithful witnesses, thus reaching our Jerusalem (Blacksburg and surrounding communities), Judea (the neighboring States—Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia), Samaria (the remaining United States), and the Ends of the Earth (The Countries of the World).
We want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection, to grow in grace and knowledge, and to glorify our Father by bearing much fruit as we cultivate our Faith, Families, and Friendships.
Please take some time to look through our website and learn more about our church and church family. We are always excited to hear from new people and welcome any questions you may have.

What to Expect
If you are visiting for the first time, let us say that we are so glad you have decided to attend our Sunday service! We are a local assembly with simple, biblical music that exalts our Lord and Savior. We have passionate hearts for Christ and ask only that you come prepared to worship, to fellowship, and to be fed by God's Word. If you have a Bible, please bring it with you! The service begins at 11:00 AM and is roughly an hour long. The message is given by our Senior Pastor, Gene Ziesel. There is a nursery for your little ones. Please come a little early so we can greet you and get to know you!
We hope you will join us after the service in the foyer for coffee, tea, and fellowship.
